On 23 May, City of Moreton Bay and Innovate Moreton Bay delivered the City of Moreton Bay 2024 Innovations Day at Norths Leagues Club, building on the inaugural event's success and bringing together forward-thinking leaders to immerse themselves in witnessing firsthand the innovative and advanced manufacturing solutions available within the City of Moreton Bay.
The 2024 event provided an amazing opportunity for local innovative businesses to showcase and pitch their products and solutions to an audience of key decision-makers from both the public and private sectors.
Innovation and creativity are critical to the success of any business and it was remarkable to witness the incredibly innovative and groundbreaking products and solutions coming from businesses right here in the City of Moreton Bay. After an event introduction by City of Moreton Bay Deputy Mayor Cr Jodie Shipway, each business pitched to the audience, followed by a productive and insightful networking session.
The industry-leading, award-winning businesses who exhibited their products and solutions included:
We were also incredibly privileged to have in our audience representatives from a wide range of organisations and departments in both the public and private sectors, including City of Moreton Bay; The Mill at Moreton Bay; Queensland Government; Queensland Fire & Emergency Services; CSIRO; Unity Water; Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast; UniSC; TAFE Queensland; Colliers; Export Finance Australia; and Marlton Capital Finance.
It was fantastic to see the amazing (and incredibly diverse!) work and products being delivered by local businesses in the City of Moreton Bay, and to be able to facilitate connections with key representatives from government and industry.
