Moreton Bay Regional Council's recent Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) 2020-2041 has identified Innovation and Entrepreneurship as one of the four key pillars for the economic advancement of the region.
Business start-ups and scale-ups are a huge part of developing the region's diverse and innovative business community. Angel investors play an important role in supporting start-ups, and shaping and enhancing the Moreton Bay Region's innovation ecosystem.
An angel investor is a individual who provides financial backing, or capital, for a business start-up, typically in exchange for ownership equity. Angel investors usually give support to start-ups at the initial moments and can provide that start-up with the essential finds to get the business off the ground and carry the company through its (difficult) early stages.
Moreton Angels meetings are hosted by AngelLoop in conjunction with Moreton Bay Regional Council add showcase pre-qualified startups seeking investment.
