AgTech is defined as an innovative technology used within primary industries and their supply chains for the purpose of improving efficiency and profitability.
Examples of AgTech at Queensland Smart Farms include digital technologies like intelligent apps, robotics, autonomy, and sensors, and non-digital technologies like protected cropping structures, fresh produce packaging, machinery, and biotechnology.
Situated within two of Queensland’s premier agricultural centres, our smart farm programs work in a range of climates, soils, production systems and supply chains across horticulture and broad-acre industries.

AgTech providers and Australian producers and supply chain businesses are invited to get involved with Gatton Smart Farm and Central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Expressions of Interest will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Applications will be reviewed against the selection criteria by an appointed committee.
